Project Noise and RSI live at MK11, Milton Keynes

Saturday night at MK11 – Live Music and Sports Bar just off the A5 just outside of Stony Stratford in Milton Keynes saw local hardcore punk rock heroes RSI Routine Social Incompetence reform for a 20th-anniversary concert supported by Project Noise.

As a massive fan of live music myself I am always up for photographing live bands not just locally in Northampton and Milton Keynes but across the UK – especially acts that give you such an energetic performance as these guys did. Jumping into the crowd, audience participation and good fun singalong numbers.

Being a live music photographer can be a tricky business but I was even able to get on the stage to photograph the drummers and even use flash photography throughout the set. Usually, you only get one or two songs from the pit. I got a little creative with these images to try and capture the visual energy. I think it kinda worked. My new Canon R6 mk2 really came into its own in these dark and wild conditions. What do you think?
