Northampton Creative Industries Expo 2023

This Saturday I found myself documenting the Northampton Creative Industries Expo 2023 at Northampton University, Waterside Campus, hosted by the Northampton Film Festival. Becky Carrie of The Northampton Film Festival invited me along to capture delegates interacting with experts as well as the many seminars and classes on offer. 

It was great to see so many fellow creatives from the world of film, theatre, and traditional arts offering their advice and mentorship to young people seeking careers in the arts. The Learning Hub’s beautiful hall lies at the heart of the University Campus. Its natural light and wide open spaces offered me the opportunity to shoot discreet candids of people chatting.

Photographing these events and conferences is not only fun to shoot but I also find the energy quite infectious.
