CLIENT: Duston Parish Council
LOCATION: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Duston Parish Council operates two community venues in Northamptonshire, offering a range of hireable spaces including conference rooms, meeting rooms, event spaces, a theatrical stage, AV facilities, and a café. Our role was to create a clear and engaging visual representation of both premises to support venue marketing and increase bookings
We were commissioned to deliver a complete visual package, combining professional interior and exterior photography, aerial drone imagery, and 360° virtual tours of each building. The virtual tours were enhanced with interactive information points, allowing users to explore the spaces remotely while viewing key details such as room layouts, capacity, and facilities — making them a powerful sales and engagement tool.
As both venues remain in constant daily use, careful planning was essential. We carried out an initial site visit with the client to agree workflows, access requirements, and shooting schedules. Working closely with facilities management, each space was cleaned, staged, and prepared in advance to ensure it was presented in its best possible light.
The 360° capture was completed across multiple visits by a Matterport-certified operator to minimise disruption to staff and visitors. Drone photography was conducted with full permissions, risk assessments, and safety procedures in place, ensuring compliant and professional aerial coverage.
The final imagery and virtual tours provide an accessible, informative way for prospective hirers to explore the venues online, helping Duston Parish Council showcase their facilities clearly and effectively. Virtual tours also offer a valuable solution for documenting temporary or event-based structures, creating a lasting digital record of spaces that may only exist for a short time.
